We’re a husband-and-wife team from the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia living our retirement dream of cruising the Australian coastline on our 44ft Brady Catamaran, while building a small business that truly reflects who we are.
Nautical Elegance began with our love of the boating lifestyle. We were struggling to find affordable, durable, great-looking fender covers that would protect our boats’ paintwork so we decided to create our own. That simple need sparked a passion project—developing high-quality, long-lasting fender covers that fellow boaties can rely on.
At the same time, a personal creative journey was unfolding. Following medical retirement in 2022, Mrs discovered a love for designing and hand-crafting handbags—a hobby that brought purpose, joy, and eventually, its own place within our business. More recently, hubby retired from a 37-year career with the Australian Defence Force and found his own artistic outlet in resin and woodworking.
Today, our website blends both worlds: affordable, practical & durable fender covers along with unique handmade accessories. Every item you’ll find in the 'Nautical Creations" section of our website is lovingly handcrafted by us while we cruise along the Australian coastline.
